Johanne leaves Victor, father of their daughter. Convinced of the moral validity of her decision, she nevertheless endures the terrible consequences. Sandrine, her best friend, advocates a form of marriage of convenience, a relationship without love but endowed with tenderness. While Rebecca, Johanne’s sister, believes in love as an adventure, and leads a secret relationship with Sandrine’s companion.
