Project Summary:
A comedy about women in Boyle Heights who just want to be skinny, loved, and accepted. But when a full-figured Latina needs to gain 20 pounds to qualify for gastric bypass surgery, her plans change. She falls in love with a man who doesn’t want her to have the surgery, disappointing the other big and beautiful ladies who were getting the surgery as a group deal.
