Jill, a bartender in Long Beach, CA, is buying the bar where she’s worked for years, marking a significant life step. Happy with her partner Vaughn and surrounded by friends, her carefree lifestyle catches up with her on her 40th birthday, landing her in the hospital. Facing the need to grow up, she quits drinking and drugs but realizes deeper changes are needed.
