Raymundo Diaz, husband and father of two, struggles to provide for his family when the construction work he normally gets abruptly slows down. Arthur Taylor, a fifty-something African American man who hasn’t had the most ideal life, is handed his pink slip after years of working his way up to Security Chief Supervisor at the Argyle Hotel. Arthur and Ray are brought together one day on the street corner while looking for work. It’s here, as an amateur fighter once again, that Ray will regain the his dignity and respect of his family.
