Project Summary:
Fight Night follows the tale of hustler Gordon “Chicken Man” Williams and Atlanta’s first black detective, JD Hudson, in 1970. It revolves around a chaotic post-fight party hosted by Williams after Muhammad Ali’s comeback fight in Atlanta. The party becomes the stage for a daring heist, as dangerous gangsters are robbed at gunpoint, resulting in the biggest theft in Georgia’s history, surpassing $1 million.
