Mabel Gardiner Hubbard, also known as May, was an extraordinary woman despite losing her hearing as a child. She was intelligent, passionate, and unique. May married Alexander Graham Bell, a renowned inventor, and her influence on him was significant. Together, they inspired each other to innovate and promote public service. Their love story, “Silence,” explores the deep nature of communication.
