Project Summary:
The infamous pirate BitTorrent site, co-founded by Peter Sunde, Fredrik Neij, and Gottfrid Swartholm in 2003, originally aimed to empower information sharing in the face of corporate control over the Internet. However, it quickly transformed into a hub for illegal distribution of copyrighted content, leading to a relentless pursuit by law enforcement, anti-piracy entities, Hollywood investigators, and Interpol.
