Project Summary:
In suburban New Jersey, Sikh boy Karandeep Singh faces identity struggles after his father’s hate crime murder in the aftermath of 9/11. At 17, he balances identity and relationships but gives them up due to betrayal. At 28, he returns home for the 20th 9/11 anniversary, confronting his past, a nephew, and reconciling with his mother.
