Project Summary:
The One follows Hawk, a Native American foster teen who, after aging out of the system, travels to Enid, Oklahoma, to see the lighting of the tallest Christmas tree. Battling undiagnosed PTSD and separation anxiety, he forms connections with locals and runaway teen Alexis, while navigating personal struggles and reflections on faith. The film highlights foster care and hope.
