The show looks at a distinctive group of Scottish families and friends, all of whom stand ready to support each other through life’s highs and lows. This could seem like a blessing but it’s usually more of a curse. This network of friends, families and neighbours always seem to loom too large in each other’s lives. Toes are trodden on, boundaries are crossed and some fiery tempers inevitably fray.
