Ugly (Feature Film)

Biopic based on the life of Jamaican model Stacey McKenzie. Born into poverty & raised in Kingston, Jamaica, McKenzie has an extremely unique look that her family, neighbors & school mates regard as ugly. After seeing Grace Jones during a photo shoot, Stacey dreams of becoming a fashion model. Enduring bullying & discouragement from her family and peers because of her ambition & her unusual appearance, Stacey transforms her perception of herself as an ugly duckling into a beautiful swan.
