Ankur Rungta is a Partner and the Co-CEO of Nickel City Pictures. Ankur was formerly Partner and Head of Business Affairs of PalmStar Media Capital, where he led the packaging and distribution of a dozen films, in addition to structuring and negotiating multiple corporate partnerships. Ankur’s producing credits include films such as Collateral Beauty, True Memoirs of an International Assassin and Mother’s Day, among others. From 2010-2013, Ankur was an investment banker in the New York office of Moelis & Company advising clients on M&A and capital markets transactions. Prior to Moelis, Ankur was a corporate attorney in the New York office of Sullivan & Cromwell, advising clients on a variety of M&A and capital markets transactions across a range of industries. Ankur graduated magna cum laude with a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School and a Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
