Renee Tab is the founder and president of Sentient Entertainment. The company specializes in strategic client management, as well as developing and producing both feature film and television properties alongside its clients.
Prior to becoming a manager, Ms. Tab spent nine years at ICM where she specialized in representing writers and directors. During her tenure she played an active role in identifying breakout opportunities for her clients, including finding actor Terrence Howard the screenplay for “Hustle and Flow” (which garnered the actor an Oscar nomination). During this time she also began working with director David Cronenberg and helped package “A History of Violence” (which received multiple Golden Globe and Oscar nominations), his follow up “Eastern Promises” (which garnered star Viggo Mortensen Golden Globe and Oscar nominations) as well as ignited the progress of the sequel, “Eastern Promises 2.”
