Project Summary:
In a Stockholm city park, Detective Superintendent Jeanette Kihlberg investigates the brutal murder of a young immigrant boy, facing obstacles from a reluctant prosecutor and a bureaucratic police force. As two more children are found mutilated, a serial killer is revealed. Kihlberg seeks help from therapist Sofia Zetterlund, leading to a professional and personal connection. They uncover a dark evil ingrained in Swedish society, beyond the apparent serial murders.
