Untitled Catalina Mastretta Project (Pilot)

Mexican-American-Jewish photographer Sara lives in Los Angeles in the house her parents bought before they decided to move back to Mexico City (their home) when she was 18. With a close and diverse tribe of family and extended family/friends who are all in the throes of moving in, moving out or moving on, Sara feels her own life is in stasis, but she’s not quite sure how to change that… The show is an exploration of what makes people family, what makes a place a home and how hard it is to grow up and become who we are, at any age.
